The 'Good Girl' complex shows up at work as constant apologizing, softening our emails with 'just' and 'maybe', and waiting for permission to speak up. It's the subconscious belief that being liked is more important than being respected.


To rewrite this rule, we must practice taking up space. This means replacing 'Sorry to bother you' with 'Thank you for your time'. It means owning our expertise and recognizing that our insights are valuable, even if they disrupt the status quo.
